ITIL Certification Levels
ITIL offers three levels of certification:
FoundationFocuses upon the basic terms and definitions, as well as the relationships between the different ITIL processes. Practitioner
Demonstrates your abilities in the practical aspects of an ITIL implementation Manager
Demonstrates the ability to manage an information technology service
All three have established and recognized training, examination and certification schemes. These are traditionally administered by Exin and ISEB, although the situation is now more flexible than it was previously.
The examinations themselves use different formats, although again, this is an area under consideration by the custodians of ITIL.
